Does my order need immediate attention on arrival?
Yes. All our beef is delivered fresh and chilled, so it must be refrigerated or frozen promptly upon arrival.
Our delivery service operates on an Authority to Leave (ATL) basis. For this reason, we strongly recommend having someone available to receive your order, or arranging delivery to your workplace or another suitable location where your beef can be refrigerated immediately.
How long will my product last in the freezer?
When stored correctly at -18°C or below, frozen beef will remain safe for an extended period.
All our beef arrives fresh and cryovaced, ready for you to place directly into your freezer.
For the best quality, we recommend the following freezer storage times:
- Sausages: 2-3 months
- Mince/Strips/Diced Beef: 3-4 months
- Steaks: up to 12 months
- Roasts: up to 12 months
These timeframes are intended as a general guide only and may vary depending on storage conditions.
Is our beef 100% traceable?
Absolutely. Our cattle are born and raised on our family property, giving us complete knowledge of where our beef comes from and how our animals have been cared for.
Cattle only leave our property at time of processing.
Are the cattle vaccinated?
Yes. The health and wellbeing of our cattle is an important part of how we farm. Our cattle are vaccinated against preventable diseases using Ultravac 7in1, in accordance with the recommended vaccination guidelines.
Vaccination is an important part of our preventative health program, helping us maintain a healthy, productive and well looked after herd.
We do not use Bovaer feed additives or mRNA vaccines.
Do we use antibiotics?
Our cattle are not routinely given antibiotics.
However, the health and welfare of our animals always comes first. If an animal becomes unwell and requires antibiotic treatment, it will receive the appropriate care.
We maintain detailed treatment records for our cattle, and whenever an animal receives a medication, all required withholding periods are met.
Treatments are administered appropriately and only when required, in consultation with our veterinarian.
Our cattle come first. We use antibiotics responsibly and only when necessary to protect their health and welfare.
Do we use Hormone Growth Promotants (HGPs)?
No.
Cancellation and Deposit Policy
Unlike a traditional butcher or supermarket, we don't process cattle to keep meat sitting on a shelf. Our beef is prepared specifically for confirmed customer orders. Once your order and deposit are received, we begin planning and allocating beef specifically for you as part of an upcoming processing date.
For this reason, your deposit confirms your commitment to your order. By placing an order and paying your deposit, you agree to pay the remaining balance when it becomes due and to be avaiable to receive or collect your beef within the arranged timeframe.
If you choose to cancel after paying your deposit, your deposit is non-refundable and your order will be cancelled. We therefore ask that you only place an order and pay a deposit when you are confident you can complete your purchase.
Refund Policy
We take great pride in the quality of our beef and want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If your order is incorrect, damaged, or you believe that there is an issue with the product, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order. We will assess each concern individually and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, credit or refund.
